Ludington Elementary School (LES) took part in HIL (High Impact Leadership) School Renewal Rounds on Tuesday, March 19.
Jaynie Manier is an ESD Literacy Specialist and she is also the HIL facilitator for this West Michigan University granted funded program at both Ludington Elementary and Pentwater Elementary.
At the recent all-day workshop, 15 educators from all around our area came to support LES teachers by observing and interviewing them to talk through what is going well in their classrooms in literacy (reading & writing), what growth edges could be built on, and what learning progress can be celebrated.
"We've just launched High Impact Leadership in these two elementaries this fall," said Jaynie. "We're grateful to WMU for its 3-year commitment. Every teacher is excited to keep positively impacting the growth and excitement for literacy in their students."
