Educator Academy

Course Description

This program is designed to provide students with opportunities to gain the critical knowledge and skills needed to become a teacher. Students are paired with a mentor teacher, within their home district, to help guide and support them in classroom preparation including lesson planning, classroom management and student engagement. Students experience all aspects of school-related activities from school board and parent/teacher meetings to professional development training. Pathway: Human Services
