The Mason Lake Oceana Great Start Collaborative in collaboration with MiSTEM and the Friends of Ludington State Park sponsored a Book Walk on a clear day this winter.
The theme was Touch the Brightest Star and it drew about 150
young children and 250 siblings, parents, and community
volunteers.
Every family received a free copy of the book Touch the Brightest
Star and other beneficial literacy resources offered by the ESD's
"InspiREading" program.
